Vandana Global Ltd. was incorporated on 12th February 1996 with an objective for setting up Sponge Iron plant and Billet casting facility. The company had started with a production facility of 70000 TPA of Sponge Iron, 25000 MT of Dolochar, etc. Presently VGL has a manufacturing facility of 231000 TPA of Sponge Iron, 129600 TPA Billet casting facility and 40.05 MW Power Plants both conventional & non-conventional. VGL had further set up a Submerged Electric Arc Furnace of 18 MVA for production of Ferro Alloys.

This is one of the Flagship companies of the Vandanaa Group, contributing to its bottom-line. It had also set up power plants with capacities of 8 MW (Waste Heat Recovery Based), 30 MW (Thermal based) and 2.05 MW (Wind based).
